MBTI

I wanna write something academic after a few series of totally nonsense blabbering on sex and unhealthy activities of mine. Last nite at the gym my bro and discuss about Myers-Briggs Type Indicator talk held at HQ. It is a good thing that someone on top are considering the use of this indicator as a way to assess the personalities of the officers, mainly middle managers whose usually the one with the resourcefulness to propel the organisation. Basically I’ve did the indicator test when I was in basic training and my inclination is ISTJ. If u wanna know more about the attributes you can browse the WIKIPEDIA (I really love this site). It has tonnes of information regarding this matter and u can link up with the website that has the test.
The thing I wanted to mention is not about the test but about the mind set of certain senior officer regarding personality test. One of the Company senior officer asked the consultant which trait is the best in MBTI. As an educated officer he should know that there is no best trait or type. Everyone complements each other. It is the job of the leader to recognise the potentials and the importance in every subordinate so that they can manipulate them according to their need and the need of the organisation. Every person in the company has their own specific skills that can be nurtured. But if there is failure in nurturing those talents, then the fault is at the leader. Not the subordinate. Cause he should’ve recognised it earlier and do something about it.
